Vaccination Schedule: This vaccine is given first when your child is 12 months followed by a booster vaccine at age 3 years and 4 months.
Early Vaccination Schedule: The HPA has issued some guidelines for vaccinating children aged less than 12 months which may be recommended if you are living in or travelling to an area where measles is particularly prevalent. It is possible to vaccinate at age 9 months followed by a booster at age 12 months and a further booster at age 15 months.
Although your child has other routine vaccinations at 12 months, it is still recommended to commence single or combined MMR vaccines at this time.
Single measles vaccine can be used to provide occupational cover and is suitable for adults.
